What do people think about the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki? It's anniversary, isn't it?

Why doesn't mempool.space discard old unconfirmed #Bitcoin transactions from their mempool unlike others, e.g. Blockstream? It seems that mempool.space keeps them forever without rebroadcasting. It looks like their custom policy. cc: @wiz, @mempool, @softsimon

Don't you think that a civil marriage is an example of fiat mentality?

Housing cost to income ratio is a poor metric. The kind of property right which is subject to transfer had been so much different 30 years ago.

What if fiat problems are results and not causes of everything being ruined? Money debasement is not new. It occurred repeatedly throughout history. What do you think? cc: @jimmysong

Don't you think that "fiat morality" is misleading term, @jimmysong ? As if there was any morality involved. Isn't there fiat (or slave) mentality instead?

Real estate prices include monetary premium. Not so much in rural areas, however. Why housing supply doesn't keep up with demand? What blocks development?

"This all seems entirely pointless to me still, because it's optimizing something that nobody seems to care about, adding new VM infrastructure, new magic system calls, yadda yadda. I was very sceptical last time, and absolutely _nothing_ has changed. Not a peep on why it's now suddenly so hugely important again. We don't add stuff "just because we can". We need to have a damn good reason for it. And I still don't see the reason, and I haven't seen anybody even trying to explain the reason." - Linus Torvalds Could you suggest how to rephrase that even better (easier to understand by any recipient), please? I would like to use it often as auto-reply.

If you must ask somebody to run a node then Bitcoin is not permissionless. Verify yourself. Deactivate spam and advance #Bitcoin. #DeactivateSpam

I haven't heard complaints about #Bitcoin "volatility" for months or longer. What has changed?
