Spirit Zulu Time 1925 - The new release from Longines! This absolutely stunning time piece is celebrating 100 years since Longines pioneered having two time zones on their watches. Tiny fact: Zulu Time is in reference to the military alphabet's letter Z which is said as "Zulu" this stands for Zero Time which is GMT + 0. A very useful reference for pilots to communicate a universal time to one another and to control towers when travelling through different time zones. Finally my Warhammer modelling experience is having some real world application! I spent a day at the Longines workshop in St. Imier, Switzerland and what a day it was! Such incredibly passionate and talented people working there, building absolutely stunning time pieces. Cook day! Today we have two 35-day-aged Galician Rib Eyes. Galician beef is, in my opinion, the best in the world! Incredibly deep, beefy flavour. But I digress, we also have an olive fed wagyu tenderloin which has a really interesting flavour profile. All steaks were dry brined overnight and left to properly come up to room temperature (takes a while but allows the fat to render easily with the way I cook hot and fast) To go with the steaks - linguine with a garlic confit butter sauce! Which is a recipe I found online. It sounds fancy but it's just roast garlic blended with butter, rolled into a snazzy little sausage, cooled in the fridge, and then whisked in a pan with pasta water! #Foooooood #1MillionGarlics

Sunday steak dinner! Basque region sirloin steaks, dry brined overnight. Served with Garlic mushrooms and oven chips! The steaks came out a touch above what I prefer temp wise, but were delicious all the same!  #Shteaks #NomNomNom

Why, hello there....I'm officially starting my foray into the rather fabulous world of watches. I've dabbled in the past, but never quite found something that felt like the perfect fit or suitably timely....until now, of course. To celebrate some Warhammer news, I decided to make a pilgrimage to the very first place I bought Warhammer models over 30 years ago....the Little Shop, on my home island of Jersey!  My incredible team and I, alongside the brilliant minds at Games Workshop, have been working away in concept rooms, breaking down approaches to the enormity and magnificence of the Warhammer world. Together, we've been sifting through the plethora of incredible characters and poring over old tomes and texts. Our combined efforts have led us to a fantastic place to start our Universe, which has been agreed upon by those up on high at both Amazon and Games Workshop. This game is the mutt's..... Seriously, though, they've done pretty well eh? I couldn't complete the campaign on Angel of Death by myself (or at least didn't have patience to complete by myself!) which I love!  Loving the PvP and am really looking forward to it growing and expanding - It has real potential to be absolutely awesome!
