Catholic priest. Normie poster. Here for the openest of open networks. Bitcoin ambivalent (save for some skeptical hostility every now and again). Alergic to AI hype. Session ID: 05fe0d69468d377651eef5a0f2b1461bd6c555fcebe190b138dd1bf106ab6d8221
My current jam. Such a simple song lyrically, but wonderfully complex in the ways that matter. Kathryn is such a gifted songwriter.
The heat index was 110 today, and I hung outside at a barbecue for a large portion of it, so that was great. Gotta love Illinois in the summer.
I never rinse my fruits or vegetables, let alone rinse them in a vinegar solution. So I guess I'd better brace myself for this explosive diarrhea craze that is supposedly spreading with all the cool kids.
My 90 day alcohol fast over, I imbibed for the first time yesterday during dinner. Honestly? I didn't miss it. I can go into any room and have a blast drinking Diet Coke. I lost 37lbs and worked out of a 21 day stall doing this, but I think the real gains were spiritual and mental.

The songwriting on the Counting Crowes' "August and Everything After" is just incredible. I've been listening to this album since I was 14, and just recently revisited it. Phenomenal.
A state of "sovereignty" is an illusion, fellow contingent being. To quote the Nobel Laureate, "You're gonna have to serve somebody."
I brought a guest (another priest) to trivia tonight. "Nobody applauded us when we won." "They pretty much hate us here. Welcome to the team."
