I must be the last person on earth who didn’t know what Celsius water is, and I’m now at a combined 760mg of caffeine on the day. YOLO.

Catholic priest. Normie poster. Here for the openest of open networks. Bitcoin ambivalent (save for some skeptical hostility every now and again).

Friend talking about the cost of fast food, since neither of us eat it much anymore.
Back when we were coming up, FF was for the lower middle class. Now it's for the upper middle class. Problem is, the value proposition isn't there. Why would I go to McDonald's when I can get a steak + beverage at my local pub for $19?
I'd be worried if I held stock in McDonald's or their ilk; they're pricing themselves right out of the game, and the profits driving the stock can't last forever.
Unable to attend, but praying for our five guys being ordained priests today.
One of them, soon-to-be Fr, Andrew, used to serve Mass for me when he was a but a tater tot. Comes from a great family, and is awesome.

What happens in a sacristy on daily Mass: culling down options sometimes. One of the deficiencies of the new Mass is the inability to honor two saints as once, unlike the TLM. So decisions must be made mentally, and it always looks like this:
“It’s St. Norbert today. But also BVM First Saturday. You’re getting bumped for Mom, Norbie. But you get it.”

Like our businesses and citizenry, it looks more and more probable that the Bears will be leaving Illinois for Indiana.
It's perfect.

Ceviche is a severely underrated Mexican dish. High protein, low calorie, limey goodness.
Keep up the grind, people.

The 80's were a wild time, man.
(Me, my sister, and "Uncle Mike," an airman who lived in our basement while he was still enlisted. Always a good family friend after.)

If I can't make this terrible secondary follow list disappear, I'll simply change it to my likeness. All done now. Sorry for the follower spam, everyone.
Fantastic live version of one of my favorite songs. Just well-written. Not bad for a group of Sooners.
I don't know this brother priest, but I can tell we'd get along. When ya gotta throw hands, you gotta throw hands.

Have you been on Facebook lately?
I know, I know. I try not to go there, but I get reeled in by RL contacts from time-to-time.
Anyway, that place is an AI slopfest, the worst kind of engagement farming. I default presume nothing I see on there is true. I don't know why people still use it.
