one thing about onchain is that there are no projects or solutions to sell to you, you just use it and it works, its the most permissionless, that can bother some.

I really don't care but people outraged about onchain zaps because of privacy, because of the link of your identity to your balance, well your identity alone on Nostr will already by itself tell a lot, who you follow, memes you like, posts you like, re-tweet etc, are public, if not carefull apps and relays can also get your IP, so before they track your sats, they probably will get you for the memes, and your "extremist" views.
