Pretty sure They released this song as the first phase of their anti sun brainwashing of humanity. Dispense a lot of good advice and then throw in the worst advice ever, so ppl actually think it’s good. Everyone listened to it back in the day and didn’t question shxt.

My thinking on sunglasses: Our eyes are the product of billions of years of evolution. Only in the last ~75 years did sunglasses become normal—first from Hollywood movie sets, then everyday life. Were we really designed to block sunlight? Or could sunlight be essential for our health? (Even UV) (Too much UV in the eye is bad. I accept that - but that doesn’t mean everyone should start wearing eye protection when they walk their dog for 30 minutes.)
