most won’t self custody just like most don’t keep gold in a home safe or cash in the mattress. as the global money, bitcoin will have many transactional layers. it is what it is. the payment rails that will be used for cups of coffee haven’t even been built yet. we are early, but not that early, but still super early compared to what mass adoption will look like. we are a few wars and a handful if revolutions away from the citadel era
