The normie's paradox. Often the goal is to simplify, to make things easy and easier to access and to use.. but often if not always this comes with a cost. One big difference between normies and not, IMO is that normies do not know what is the price of the simplification. No solutions, only trade-offs will someone say.. .. and I believe also that's true, but.. it isn't written in the sacred scriptures that normies should live all their life and die as normie without even ever trying. I believe that the ones who understand the costs have also the duty to trying to explain it or to create different way to highlight which disadvantages implies the pursue of extreme simplifications. Because what the possible results of creating a normie world and normie technology would be creating more normies, will soften the ones that weren't soft, will create even sloppier minds.. The #nostr subculture should give a reason the normies to be more eccentric and noncomformist, make easy to understand why a harder tech implies sovereign features, and why being sovereign and free is the most important thing. I don't think there are alternatives.. or the number of normies declines in favour of the alternative, or the latter will inevitably decline in favour of normies. If you accommodate too much in order that others will embrace you, you'll lose your identity and what you build unitl then. I believe we saw the proof this in the bitcoin sphere already.. .. but hey, I can't build and I know nothing so take this note for what it is.. another self reflection.
