Futures contracts in which a party doesn’t have to deliver the underlying asset or commodity could be the greatest scam of all of fiat.

I have been working so much, trying to pack for a move, coordinating contractors at the new place, closing and opening utilities, doing my own work at the new place, and helping out with our son before and after our familial help shows up and haven’t been able to work out in two weeks. I legitimately don’t understand how people go through life without working out. You are a shell of yourself if you aren’t out there getting some exercise.

There are so many benefits to having kids.

Podcasts since the Cold Card failure have been terrible. Every hardware wallet other than the CC sucks, and everyone knows it. We have vendor lock, apps, overly complicated devices, and just a general suck for signing devices. Cold Card was the best signing device, and still is if you generated your own entropy. It’s not even close. There is nothing like it. No one feels comfortable recommending anything. “I’m just a humble stacker. You do you. “ We have a lot of work to do. This isn’t a joke. But all the signing devices are. Let’s go. Lots to do.

Sometimes there are albums that are so mind blowing that when you show up to the artists’ concert you can’t even fathom how they aren’t just ripping the whole thing through.

God humbled me AGAIN this week. It’s been 6 plus years of destroying my pride, and sadly I’m gonna have to learn more lessons until he flushes it out of me. A nice in my face reminder that everything I have is from him. I’m not smarter or better than anyone. Message rec’d Lord.

I had a cash emergency pop up when the buyer of our condo couldn’t get a clear to close from some third rate mortgage company he decided to use. At the same time, we had a contract on a new home that we were purchasing that was supposed to close after that sale, but now we were in a position where we could either close on the new home without the cash from our condo sale, or lose the home back to the market. We decided to close on the home, but it required borrowing cash against our Bitcoin for 3 weeks, or selling our Bitcoin. We decided on a very low LTV and borrowed via @npub1ex7m...vyt9 . I will admit, that I didn’t love the scenario, but the ease of the process and the team at Strike were incredible throughout. They even let us close our loan early when the condo sale finally happened. I can’t say enough good things about the Strike loan product. Sadly, sometimes Fiat gets in the way of life. Thanks to @jack mallers and team for building a tool to bridge the two worlds. This is not an endorsement of borrowing against your #bitcoin . Frankly, I recommend against it. However, it was the best option for us at the time, and props where props are due for the incredible product and service offered.

A guy who wiped his phone at an airport was detained, and law enforcement putatively had the right to go through his phone because of a made up kiddie porn allegation. Meanwhile the entire Epstein class was endlessly involved in underage sex stuff and not one ounce of energy is being expended on any of them. This system is NGMI. No one under 60 believes any of the charade.
