I almost did anyway cause it's so easy, but the coin kite website seems to not accept lightning (???) so the fee to pay on chain is more than the card itself 😂 River seems to be only for US residents and they want my SIN Open dime seems too techy, honestly even for me and they're ultra-normies . Also expensive and only in 3packs so that's out I could make a hot wallet and make two backups of the seed, and they can take it out whenever they're ready to self custody. Or I can just destroy my copy when they have it. A bit annoying but maybe fine. I can’t stop thinking about the energy in Rio de Janeiro. The best thing I can compare it to is Toronto the night the Raptors won the playoffs (my only frame of reference because I was there, lol). There was a buzzing energy you could physically feel everywhere. I stepped out on to my balcony and the air was literally like electric, from the energy of people celebrating in the streets. But the difference is that in Toronto it was a special occasion youd feel maybe once or twice in a lifetime - it was literally historic. In Rio, it was just a regular Monday ✨ It has consciously occurred to me for the first time that some places just exist at a higher frequency. Absolutely wild!! I’m not likely to move to Rio, but this realization will definitely help inform where I eventually choose to settle #energy #brazil #toronto #rio #reflections

I’m doing some research for a little article I’m writing ... #fiat feminism ... about how our broken monetary system has (mis)shaped the direction of modern-day #feminism The idea is that the “progress” we see today isn’t the result of moral or social evolution, but of economic pressures, and that today’s mainstream feminist ideas largely benefits a small class of professional, successful women It also downplays the natural, healthy differences between men and women, pushing women to adopt more masculine modes of being (constant working, striving, doing - "girlboss-ing") rather than honoring and leaning into our feminine strengths I want to trace this back to the monetary system: how has an inflationary currency and the need to work harder and harder for less and less distorted the meaning of female empowerment? What would an organic, healthy form of progress look like, free from these pressures?? I need to VENT! Mailchimp is asking we find a new vendor for the Blockhunters account . This happened AFTER I sunk hours into learning how it works, writing and designing email updates and a welcome series plus transactional emails for our customers Why? The word " #bitocin " was detected by the automated abuse detection system and even after appealing and asking a human to review that we are indeed not a cryptocurrency, our product is a physical board game and STEM authenticated low key educational tool . Everyone who subscribed already is already a bitcoiner They still said NO! I won't say it's devastating, but I did waste most of my week on this 😭😭😭 How does one even participate in email marketing if the product has "Bitcoin" in it!? I get bitcoin emails all the time ? Mostly I'm just sad that our beautiful wonderful little project is getting classified as "crypto spam" 😤 and no one understands how wrong that is #venting #entrepreneurship #asknostr #emailmarketing I don't know what hashtags to use
