The Alby extension is giving me trouble... it used to work but its been a while and seems i need to update some things I have to link a new wallet with NWC. I tried setting up Zeus but it doesn't work. Any other wallets I should use? I don't know how to generate a new NWC connection secret in anything but Zeus but I can't add any sats to Zeus because it is unable to find a route for payment #askNostr

For the past couple of months I've been casually researching the history of #Feminism through the lens of Fiat money. I think that feminism, as we know it today, has been largely shaped by fiat money and the distorted incentives it creates. I know the word "feminism" is radioactive haha. Understandably so. It's insanely divisive and adversarial, and often disconnected from biological reality. One interesting thread that I can't ignore: the second wave of feminism closely coincides with the end of the gold standard. It's not as simple as “fiat ruined feminism.” Obviously it's more complex than that... but social movements evolve within the systems they exist in! And in a fiat system that requires two incomes to survive, feminists defined “liberation” as participation in the labour market. That’s not the same as women’s flourishing! Any thoughts? I was originally going to write a few articles about this just for fun… but I discovered a rabbithole, so I think I might turn this into a whole book! #FiatFeminism
