I’ve been off social media (except nostr) and ignored the news for nearly a year now. Occasionally when I catch a glimpse of it, it’s so obviously poison for the mind, catastrophising absolutely everything and pushing authoritarian agendas. Tonight I went to an AGM of my children’s sports league. It was inspiring being surrounded by people from the local county giving up their time for free to support and promote kids playing sport. There is still so much good, so much culture, and so much hope in the world. It’s vital we cling on to this.

I’m so confused about the Beef Tallow hype. Is this just a US thing? I mean, I’ve been using Britannia Finest Beef Dripping - £1.25/250g - all my life. It’s great and I don’t understand why people are paying 5-10x more for Tallow. Is this just a UK thing? Because the vast majority of our beef is grass fed (grain finished) anyway? #asknostr
