I hope you can appreciate this: I have a bitcoin text thread with family. My mom has been a Bitcoiner since 2022. And today she texted back the following. It just slaps a smile on my face when my MOM beats me to bitcoin stuff. You know what I mean? What other thing in the world bridges generations like #bitcoin ?

Just don’t want to see weird laws protect corporate entities in wilder ways because they’re private, rather than public. And we wind up with just another form of government slavery.

Again, this is wildly prophetic. However I have not yet seen the authors grasp the fragility of the infrastructure. Yes you may be able to chat with a person in china via translation software, but when that person is being tracked, FEAR of the State will keep them in line. The authors don’t realize WHO WILL BE LISTENING. (The Sovereign Individual)

Seems like we’re ’almost’ at this stage. However I think the authors might have missed how important ISPs are and how fragile the on ramps to the internet can be. So many choke points. @nat brunell just released a great interview with Whitney Webb touching on these topics.
