This was the most difficult two weeks of my life so far. I'm NOT usually a busy guy but I've been working 12 to 16 hour a day for 5 weeks straight. Managing our house sale and moving everything out, continuing to write, got my bjj blue belt, working on several construction projects, building our off-grid setup, my stack wasnt where I wanted it when we pumped, and honestly, I feel like I'm hanging on by a thread. This was the first night I felt like I could truly relax and soak it all in. I'm so grateful... So grateful for work, for this amazing place to live... I just worked for about 10 hours in the scorching sun framing a complicated deck. I'm relaxing now and I feel pure euphoria... My body feels like it's buzzing.

Throwing things away is one of my top five favorite activities. The more expensive, the more pleasure...

Commute distance has had a much stronger correlation to my professional happiness than how much I've earned. Some of the best seasons of my life have been when I work close to home and some of my worst were working high income jobs with hour+ commutes.

I'm not sure who is more excited. The wife and I or the kids. 😆
