I've always had a great deal to say but have never mustered the courage to post on social media. I rationalized this by telling myself I was too humble, which is embarrassingly self-aggrandizing in hindsight. Nostr has helped me realize that it wasn't humility; it was an inability to subject my most vulnerable and valuable thoughts to a feudal platform where I might be censored, algorimatized, and commodified.
