To really know your enemy, you have to become your enemy
Last pressing of Pinot Noir today marking the end of harvest. We will be switching gears from harvest to bottling. First batch of cider canning will be in December.
Check out the pallet of Madex Merlot casually chilling in the cellar. Still have to wax the tops of most of them.

Canada is not a real country.
Cold snap came early. Had to pickup all the pumpkins from the patch and move inside last night, then put them out this morning and pack up again this evening. Approx 1000 pumpkins.
That’s farming for ya.
Thankfully had help from the family. There was no debate or arguing, we just went to work and got it done.

Pumpkin patch at Privato starts Saturday!

Dropped by Mahoney’s Tavern last night for dinner in Vancouver. Was pretty slick paying with sats.
Wasn’t feeling the red wine so I didn’t drink it. Life’s too short to drink shit wine. If you don’t like it or you feel off from it, move on.

Here I thought I was gonna have a peaceful afternoon listening to bitcoin podcasts and filling kegs.

Took old blue out for a rip on the open road today. Picked up some bales from a neighbour. Best part of the day so far.

So proud 😭

$900 for two nights at a Days Inn in Vancouver. That was the cheap option. The alternative was staying in a hostel for $600. Thankfully it’s a work trip.
