FTX rumors with no real basis were circulating about creditor payments starting today. This is not the case.
Bitcoiner Post is monitoring our connections with actual creditors on the notice of dates. Currently today's date is the deadline for information submittal, whereby creditors may have to wait until Jan 2nd, 2025 if not submitted by today's deadline.
The actual distribution plan decisioning is set to occur on October 7th. At that time the receiver and court will finalize dates for creditor distributions. The current working plan is that distributions in the amount of 16 Billion will occur sometime in Q4 of 2024, unless creditors are late in filing claims. Those would be handled later.
We'll keep everyone updated as more information is available.
