Perhaps the best and worst thing social media has done is given a platform to any member of congress who wants to be loud.
Why is this great? It’s an incredible way to engage with constituents
Why is this terrible? Some of our elected representatives are wildly unintelligent people
Question to followers:
What’s a niche you’d like to see more of?

Open to other ideas to bring more value to Nostr
Why do people become public figures on social media? It’s gotten slightly better recently, but by definition any success in building a personal brand/following opens your entire life up to attacks and smears.
Anonymity is the way forward, but the downside is the difficulty in showing credibility when you can’t tell people who you are.
Maybe not a true fix, but I propose this:
In some verifiable form, I’d like the ability to add qualifications to my profile. The easiest example is college degrees, but I also know this is absolutely not proof of competency.
Posting job position could be too easily doxxed I think, and runs into the same issue as the college degrees.
This is an unorganized thought stream. Maybe I just have to build credibility through my posts and stop looking for shortcuts.
Bear markets feel like decades and Bull markets feel like days
