Garden post 1: My family and I bought a house with a tiny backyard and Horrible soil conditions (Think dessert) about 10 years ago and I’ve been actively working on my soil for about 7 years now… it all started with rock hard cement-like clay/rock/sand and a 4” high frame that I called a raised bed. It was basically something to hold wet mulch in place while I attempted to plant something that just might survive the summer. Fast forward to today! I wish video clips would load properly here! Trying to grow potatoes in some large old pots that I found. Just threw some funky potatoes from the fridge on the bottom layer of dirt and added half processed compost as the plants grew. Hopefully I’ll get a decent yield and it should be easy to harvest as I can just tip the pots upside down. #grownostr #garden Please consider following me and I will follow back!
