Sometimes I get the impression #nostr was just a grift for #bitcoin devs to create a hype cycle around something so they wouldn’t have to go to a fiat job. I love that we have some censorship resistance but pretending that Nostr is in the same galaxy as Bitcoin is pure grift. If the Nostr devs work their asses off for half a decade and do a good job nostr will be about one tenth as impactful as bitcoin. And that’s damn good. Anyone trying to sell it as more has their hand in your pocket.

With the way things are going I wonder if the lessons from the War on Drugs could inform lessons for a possible War on #bitcoin For example will we have coinjoin dealers? People that can somehow take assets and nimbly set up transactions to give you anon bitcoin?
