I prefer to read on the kindle platform. The note taking, format, and easy ability to fly through pages without having to adjust for lighting is preferable. However I miss the ability to feel like I am really owning the book I am paying for. Does anyone know if there is an open source option for this? Is this just the inherent tradeoff?
