I got the chance to speak with the owner of a crane and steel construction company owner yesterday. Talked rates, regulatory bloat, private vs government sector trends, and the importance of having meaning in work. Conversations with people more knowledgeable than yourself is truly humbling and great for the soul. Reminds me to continuously try my hardest to stay humble. Imagine what work would look like if measurable time didn't exist. People would be compensated for what they accomplished rather than how long they spent doing so. Bored at work tonight. Finished all my jobs 3 hours early, now to pretend like I am being productive so I can still earn the same money as if the work took me 3 hours longer. If I were compensated by task I would totally be finding more to do right now. Additionally, because I am at a highly bureaucratic government employer there is no hope for a promotion without meeting their charts criteria which is basically determined by age and tenure. I try to get a large amount of my food intake from red meat. Often when I go to the grocerie store I am cheap however, for I end up buying the $5/lb packs of the steak. I am not sure exactly if its stomach meat, but I do think it is just worse muscle of the cow. Can anyone speak to whether or not these beef cuts are more unhealthy for me than a classic ribeye or end cut which is more expensive? Beef connoisseurs please help me out.

I at first became infatuated with the level of real personal interaction here on the nostr protocol. Recently I have begun to get slightly uninterested in the constant bitcoin discussion I see in my feed.
