When the Bitcoin CEO announces heโ€™s raising pricesโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ˜‚ Good thing you donโ€™t need insider calls to stack sats. With dca.bot you just automate your buys โ€“ pump or no pump. #dca image

Recurring buys on a single exchange are fine for many. But you give up flexibility. Multi-exchange routing = split custody + redundancy if one provider has issues. Some exchange pairs have 0 fee BTC trades; fee drag matters when you DCA for years. Advanced execution: pause/resume rules, and multiplier DCA for better sizing. TL;DR: Split your DCA over multiple exchanges: image

We size with rules, not vibes. If you had to pick inputs for multiplier DCA, whatโ€™s on your list? โ€ข Price structure / volatility โ€ข Momentum/RSI โ€ข On-chain (MVRV, SOPR, etc.) โ€ข Funding/perp skew โ€ข Social/news Reply with your top 2 and why. image

My Bitcoin strategy: the bot buys the dip, I buy the chips. DCA means I only time snacks, not markets. Future-me gets sats, present-me gets salsa. Winโ€“win. image

You can still run classic fixed DCA. Multiplier DCA is for people who want more control without turning into a day trader.

Guardrails matter: multiplier is capped (0โ€“3ร—) to prevent โ€œstackingโ€ too big buys in a fast dump.

Example: base DCA $100 โ†’ at 2.5ร— you buy $250; at 0.5ร— you buy $50. In overheated markets you scale back or skip. Preserve dry powder for better entries.

We use a ๐Ÿฌโ€“๐Ÿฏร— ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—น๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ to size buys based on market conditionsโ€”within strict caps & cool-downs. Itโ€™s still DCA, just smarter allocation.

What if you could supercharge DCA using technial indicators and AI? ๐Ÿงต image

DCA is great. But fixed amounts ignore context. We use a ๐Ÿฌโ€“๐Ÿฏร— ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—น๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ to size buys based on market conditionsโ€”within strict caps & cool-downs. Itโ€™s still DCA, just smarter allocation. Try now: image

๐Ÿš€ Just shared on Hacker News: how a weekend project turned into ๐—ฑ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ.๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜ โ€“ a Bitcoin DCA tool that removes emotions, adds multiplier logic, and runs across exchanges. ๐Ÿ‘‰ news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45221852 Would love feedback from builders & Bitcoiners. image

Missing buys. Panic buying pumps. Forgetting during sideways. Weโ€™ve all been there. Thatโ€™s why we built dca.bot โ†’ smarter Bitcoin DCA with multiplier logic. On average: 30% more BTC vs normal DCA. #dca

image I built a Dollar Cost Averaging bot, hereโ€™s what I learned Years ago, I started tinkering with the idea of automating my bitcoin investments. Not because I wanted to โ€œbeat the marketโ€, but because I was tired of: - Forgetting to make my buys on time - Buying emotionally during pumps - Getting bored during sideways and forgetting to buy (again) What started as a weekend project has turned into something much bigger: a fully working multi-exchange DCA bot that supports both fixed and multiplier strategies, backtest, and risk modeling. Along the way, I learned a ton โ€” not just about code, but about: - How different exchanges handle API limits (and how frustratingly inconsistent they are) - Why small order sizes can cause more trouble than large ones - The psychological side: most people want to โ€œset and forget,โ€ but they still check every day - Why back-testing results can look amazing on paperโ€ฆ but live trading always teaches you new lessons Iโ€™m sharing this because I think a lot of devs and traders have thought about building something similar but the rabbit hole is deeper than it looks. Lets connect! If anyoneโ€™s interested, I can dive deeper into: - How multiplier DCA actually works in practice - The mistakes I made early that almost killed the project - Why I think 90% of DCA bots on the market are using sub-optimal execution logic Happy to answer anything, whether itโ€™s about the tech stack, exchange quirks, or the strategy side of DCA. #asknostr
