Morning pond report is snow! We finally got our candy coating. I’ve been missing this.

I live on 14.5 acres in Amish country in Ohio. I have raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits & sheep. I’ve planted cherries, hazelnuts, peaches, mulberries, paw paws, apples, pears & nectarines. I garden (badly) but I am learning more every year. I work remotely for a bank as a mortgage underwriter- fingers crossed I am still doing that when you read this.
I hunt on my land - have gotten 5 deer since I moved out here. Into everything homesteading.

Morning Nostriches!
Morning pond report is not the winter wonderland I was hoping for. It’ll be cold out, but there may or may not be a candy coating. All my guests have to dress be through the weather to get to me though so I’m still hoping for a full house.

Morning Nostriches
Morning pond report is mild. It’s 51 degrees out there right now which is my high for the day. We’re going down from here with the snow starting at 5 am tomorrow morning. It will be glorious! Nothing better than a house full of people, a fire going, a beautiful snowscape as a background & a really good home cooked meal that was raised on the farm
