I'm more of a tar and feather guy.
Therefore, the political elite should support my ideas and gently give up their power.
You see, some are more of the gallow type.
I suspect people who understand things late typically fall in the latter category.
They shout:
"Hang them! Hang them!"
and a lot higher than most people.
But why?
Because they are afraid of those who woke up earlier than them, they are afraid of being brought to the gallow themselves.
So they scream until they are blue in their faces, to avoid the same faith as the rulers.
Mark my words.
Tar and feathers is the best option.
Just let it all go, release us, and I'll try to speak reason to the mob before it grows too angry.

I highly recommend the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox, based on Roald Dahl's book with the same title.
It seems highly relevant today too.

Today, it feels like the political class treats us as we represent some sort of gigantic tragedy of the commons problem that they must solve.
People in group A tell themselves:
"If I don't brainwash and weaponize the people against group B, then group B will brainwash and weaponize the people against us."
and vice versa.
Therefore, they prey on us as we were some stupid grazing buffalos that "nobody owns."
This leaves us with no other option than to fight back against the political class as if it was a pack of wolves.
But remember, this is a war of ideas, and if you are stupid enough to bring violence to the battlefield you will normally only end up causing damage to your own cause.
Fight the war of ideas.
Make it a Sound Rebellion.

Worst among the various types of generalization are:
- equalizing political rulers and state laws with the nations' peoples,
- equalizing religious leaders and religious texts with the religions' followers,
- equalizing nations' history with the present day nations' peoples' morals, and
- equalizing the evil deeds of some men with a certain skin colour with the ethics of other men with the same skin colour.
These narratives fuel all kinds of wars, all kinds of terror, and all kinds of evil actions at an individual level.
Furthermore, I truly believe that ignoring these terrible forms of generalization is the greatest and most widespread sin committed by intellectuals throughout history.
This intellectual bankruptcy has fuelled a hatred that political leaders all over the planet and throughout all of our history continually exploit in order to achieve their evil objectives.
The war of ideas must be fought, and if we don't succeed with weeding out these false beliefs, we will never see an end to politicians' ambitions to steal our freedom.
Transfer of money from individuals to the state has negative marginal value from the very first monetary unit that is being transferred.
The negative effect increases exponentially from unit two and upwards.
Prove me wrong.
People who have mortgages while they at the same time invest in stock funds are in practice people who gear their investments - prove me wrong.
1. People prefer 10 comfortable lies to 1 uncomfortable truth.
I'll try to explain why and what might follow from this and a few more insights:
2. Ideas that feel comfortable release dopamine when you think of them, while ideas that feel uncomfortable release cortisol.
3. Actions that follows from these ideas typically produce the opposite results.
a) actions that ignore false beliefs release cortisol.
b) actions that respect truth release dopamine.
4. The reason for No 3 a) and b) is that economic, social and natural laws punish you for ignoring false beliefs, while they reward you for respecting truth.
5. Although people aren't concious about these principles, they aren't stupid.
6. The way people adjust, however, is that they stick to thinking about their comfortable lies without implementing them as actions - they become passive.
7. Passivity is amplified when people have high time preference*.
8. When people suffer from inflation they get high time preference, meaning they are more likely to stick to the comfortable lies and become passive.
9. The few who benefit from inflation (the Cantillionaires**) get low time preference, meaning they are more likely to take action.
10. Because passivity results in a lack of learning, while activity stimulates learning, the gap between those who suffer from inflation and those who benefit from it widens.
Feel free to discuss.

*A person who heavily prefers current consumption to future consumption has a high time preference as he places a heavy premium upon satisfaction as soon as possible. By contrast, a person who does not place a heavy premium upon instant satisfaction has a low time preference
** A "Cantillionaire" is a term used to describe individuals who gain wealth through the "Cantillon Effect," which refers to the uneven impact of inflation on different parts of the economy. This effect benefits those closest to the source of new money, often central banks and their associates, who can spend before prices rise, thereby gaining financial advantages. The term highlights the perceived unfairness in the fiat monetary system where these individuals accumulate wealth not by creating value but by exploiting monetary policy.
