This (Vitalik's point of view) is the typical output of an immature, self-centered, mind. Which is the archetype of the modern false "progressive", of the "woke".
They analyze the data of what happens to a family (yes, I know that you can be "with kids" and not "coupled") as the sum of two individuals, instead of as a unit. Not only that, but they also frame it as a struggle of *opposed* individuals, in which one "progresses" at the expense of the other, instead of as two individuals cooperating for the progress of both.
That's what Marx taught, so those are the only terms in which they are capable of thinking.
With the wrong framework, it's to be expected that they always, systematically, get the wrong answers.
