Listening to your use case about sharing files between Apple and Linux, have you tried using Samba and Apple’s Files app ‘Connect to a server’ feature? I haven’t tried it with Samba but it works OK for Windows shares on my local network, so it theoretically should work.

I explained the Core v30.0 situation to my wife today and she worked with me to translate it into terms that she can relate to. ‘So it’s like one group of dog walkers wants to continue to use leashes of different sizes, (or not use leashes) and another group who wants to abolish dog leashes because leashed dogs can sometimes escape.’

I am really not looking forward to tax season. Not because I have a large amount of realized gains taxes to pay. But because I like to use lightning and accounting for small or micro lightning transactions is currently a massive pain in the ass. I’ve bought some products, supported some causes, zapped Satoshi’s to lots of folks on Nostr, using untold experimental wallets … basically your capital gains paperwork nightmare. Please, please, please … if you run lightning wallet software, please add, ‘Export transactions to CSV!’. I imagine that it would take minutes to vibe code that.
