Thinking about doing schnorr threshold signatures over bitchat 🤔
Just as we had to build our own money with Bitcoin and build or own network with nostr we will have to build our own models and tools the embody our principles in AI
NVIDIA seems to be taking very pro open source / local AI stance with amazing open models AND open training data Also nemotron-3-nano is just goated

Frostr works with all of the nostr signing protocols today, but it’s still fragmented. How do you unify them? Keep it all interoperable, and keep them connected? These are big problems to solve still!

People that assert “the plebs and normies of the world are too stupid for self-custody, running a lightning node, running a server, etc” should not be trusted! They do not believe in the enduring human spirit of the individual! They are central planners who want to “solve” this problem for you with their miraculous solution - “you will not need the sovereignty of a server, a node, a utxo if you just adopt the solution!” they proclaim! Do not accept the empty promises of “operators” and custodians! Learn to use the tools!

Introducing SNSTR! A lightweight secure nostr development kit built for renegades, rebels, rejects (and other R words) ! https://github.com/austinkelsay/snstr

I have been building snstr that last 6 months or so with the goal of making the most secure minimal dependency nostr library that I can use and rely on for all my nostr dev work moving forward!

Check it out and please let me know what you think! (Especially if you think it sucks) image

Splitting up your key can be done offline and signing can technically be done offline but the standard flow is your keys (on different devices) communicate partial signatures over relays View quoted note →
