Today's veterans reject the 'damaged veteran' narrative. The war changed us, yes. It broke many of us, then refined and molded us into the most effective and capable demographic of the human population.

Veterans have spent years operating in hostile environments, solving problems with limited resources, and looking out for their teams. The Bitcoin community needs more of that.

"How can veterans embrace Bitcoin when they served a corrupt system?" We get comments like these more often than you might think. Let's make something perfectly clear: Veterans don’t need permission to be here. That's a key feature of the network. We’re here to learn, build, mine, teach, and lead. Get used to it. Or don't. Always improve your fighting position. This is a core tactical principal all members of the military and veteran community are explicitly familiar with. Recent security exploits in the Bitcoin ecosystem illustrate the need for constant vigilance. If you're not getting stronger, you're getting weaker. Act accordingly.

Things veterans traded for a rapidly devaluing currency: Time. Labor. Stress. Health. Deployments. Missed holidays. Missed birthdays. That represents human energy we expended and can never get back. Understanding value for value matters. That's why we teach veterans about Bitcoin.

On this Independence Day, let us remember, our independence was won by veterans of the French and Indian War who refused to tolerate British oppression and the enslavement of taxation. It was our nation's veterans who answered the call and led the way. Our nation's veterans who, keenly aware of the cost of war, picked up their arms and led us into victory. Our independence was won. But our freedom from the theft of our life's work, time and energy must be fought for every day. The Revolution for independence was won. The fight for freedom must be fought every day. THIS is why we teach veterans about freedom technology. THIS is why today's veterans must be armed with knowledge of the most perfect and peaceful weapons we have ever known that are our best hope against the enemy.
