It is time to reject the commonly assigned interpretation of victimhood based on status as veterans of the military.

The "broken veteran" narrative is designed to inhibit and subdue the most effective, capable and dangerous threats to tyranny. We are conditioned to believe our military experiences left us irreparably damaged, no longer useful to society and dependant on charity and government support. The reality, for those who choose to accept it, is we are the best hope for freedom and our experiences have prepared us for a time such as this. We embrace our responsibility to lead the world into the next phase of human flourishing. And we will not fail.
