Entering customs as a citizen in most countries: automated passport scan, photo taken, electronic gate opens, no lines
Going home as an American: customs asks, are you bringing over $10,000 in cash? Do you have food or alcohol? Where did you come from? How long did you stay? The line for citizens is LONGER THAN FOR TOURISTS 🤦♂️
Is it standard policy for airlines to change the departure time to be ONE HOUR EARLY? To add insult to injury, they didn't even email or text me. Missed the first flight of my life. At least I won't miss my connection back to the US.
The food in Vietnam is amazing. Sadly I have come down with a case of diarrhea. My Chinese GF who has been eating the same food is fine, but I'm struggling. Interesting that the Vietnamese pharmacy sells medicine by taking apart a bulk pack and selling you individual pills for cheap.

Is there any reason I shouldn't sell my current gas sedan and sell some guns to buy a used Tesla Model 3? AWD Model 3's with 50,000 miles on them are only ~$40,000. With electricity in Reno at $0.12/kWh, would cost $10 to drive 300 miles.
