GM Just trimmed up my fern. I’ve had this for years now, it’s never looked spectacular but it has survived. It’s actually starting to look kinda good. Looking to repot it sometime soon! Any fern soil tips? #plantstr image
Testing testing using the new relay running on location @The Space Btw here is some freeze dried rabbit manure if anyone is interested. Hmu  #poostr image
Say hello to my little friends. I picked these scrub oak acorns from the Colorado mountains last year and they are growing well in the tent. Does anyone have a good solution for little tiny fruit flys? I need to solve it before I get more mushrooms growing in the tent next door. #plantstr #cacti
My final resume tip. https://jsonresume.org/ JSON resume is pretty dope. It allows you to write your resume in json format and then apply a theme to generate a PDF. Take note! Most themes suck for ATS! However with this tool, I can write 20 different bullet points for each job in my experience. Then I look at the job description and I can select 3-4 bullet points which most closely match the job, and comment out all of the rest. Then just regenerate the resume, and it’ll look good to the ATS system because it’s keyword optimized and also truthful of the work I’ve done. We shall see if this grand master plan pays off.
Over the last few days I’ve learned much about ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems). They are these black box systems which scan your resume and remove all formatting and organize it by keyword. Now that I have the ability to scan my resume myself, I have optimized it for these systems and not for human aesthetics. I now know why many of my previous resumes fell flat. My agonizing over perfectly formatted LaTeX was actually destroying my chances for an interview from all but the tiniest startups who can’t afford the black box software.
It does feel good to be applying to jobs again. I feel like I am much more organized and prepared now. Also when I was last looking for work ~Nov 2023-Feb 2024 Bitcoin companies (and most companies) were all under financial stress. It was so demoralizing applying for multitudes of highly technical jobs that I felt I was qualified for and not even getting a recruiter phone screen for 99.9% of them. But that pain is what triggered LightningSpore to be born, and even now it is not dying.
People might not like this, but I applied for a job at Coinbase. In the application it asked for a link to a smart contract that I deployed and I linked to a Lightning Channel open transaction. Lol
