The worst thing about #Bitcoin is that we won't get to see the eventual world that will come out of it. Think about it, we're already amazed by layer 2 / 3 applications coming out of it. The sexual revolution was the biggest L for women and the biggest W for men. Sex without commitment or chance of becoming a father and you ladies thought this was a win? Are you kidding me!?

Sex work is real work, yes, but it's not work I would glorify. Trash collecting is real work too. So is the treatment of human waste. Also sex has a social component that other jobs don't have, which can lead to major social consequences. Sex work is real work, but it isn't "just" work. If sex work was "just work" then it would be totally acceptable for a Fortune 500 CEO to ask his secretary to get him off. Just like fetching coffee or refilling the printer ink, right? Sex work isn't just work, and it isn't glamorous work. But it is real work.

What do you call it when you're not allowed to say a word based on the colour of your skin? If you get lambasted, demonised, and even physically attacked for using a word because your skin-tone isn't the right shade, how would we define that?🤔🤔🤔

If you're worried about climate change, but don't see nuclear as a potential solution, then you're not really worried about climate change.

Beware of "end of history" thinking. We are not at the end of history and likely many things we consider commonplace or good today will one day be seen as barbaric or idiotic. Just because you have people who agree with you does not mean that you're right.

Both the left and the right are prone to slipping into "power politics". That is, they see power as the ultimate goal as it allows you to realize your political ambitions. The only antidote is to have a set of first principles and operate from those.

Stop saying that COVID ruined the economy. Stop saying that COVID caused massive backlogs with cancer screenings. Stop saying that COVID caused an entire generation of children to be developmentally stunted. COVID didn't do any of that. The government mandated lockdowns did.

Communism is as evil as Fascism.

Taxation is theft. Doesn't matter if you think it's good or necessary. Even if you could 100% guarantee the money went to feeding orphans, is it moral to acquire that money through the threat of violence? Housing, education, healthcare, and all the other things you can think of are not human rights. The only true human right is property rights and all other rights spring from that first principle.

My rights are not up for discussion, let alone up for debate.

Utopian thinking is the root of limitless human suffering over the centuries. There is no Utopia. There is no perfect society. There's nothing you can do that will just "fix" all the problems in the world. If you disagree, you need to grow up and educate yourself.

Being judgemental is not a bad thing. Judgement is an evolved part of human socialisation. In fact, the problem nowadays is that we're not judgemental enough.

Abortion is legalized eugenics. And that logic could even be extended to birth control, but that's a more nuanced debate. For now, I can't see abortion as anything but the killing off of unwanted genetic lines in the human gene pool.

Imagine a world where the State couldn't tax you without your direct consent. A world where the State couldn't print more money and inflate yours away. A world where you had absolute control over your money. That's the future with #Bitcoin
