Imagine a world where the State couldn't tax you without your direct consent.
A world where the State couldn't print more money and inflate yours away.
A world where you had absolute control over your money.
That's the future with #Bitcoin

The church used to rule the lives of the people. Religion was what defined you.
Then the printing press came.
The State now rules the lives of the people. Politics is what defines you.
Now the internet & #Bitcoin has come.
History works in cycles.
Doesn't repeat, but it rhymes.

Guys, AI is here to stay and will only become more prevalent.
Entire industries will be disrupted and millions of jobs will be made obsolete.
There is no stopping this.
The only solution is to adapt.
I could vehemently hate what you have to say and react with visceral disgust when you say it. But I will still die to defend your right to say it.
This used to be a strongly held principle by many people.
Now it seems that less and less people feel this way.
#Bitcoin is inevitable. You can ignore it or trash it as much as you want.
People will keep buying it. #Fiat currency will keep inflating away. And there will come a day when you will have to live with the consequences of your decisions.
Did you stack or did you ignore?
Choose wisely.

We're in the information age right now. You have the world's knowledge at your fingertips and limitless options as a result.
In the information age, effort is the great equalizer. This is true regardless of your background or any other issues that you may have.
Hierarchy is an intrinsic part of human psychology and can't be removed. All we can do is make any hierarchy you could be a part of completely voluntary.
Mandatory hierarchies will lead to actual exploitation, abuse, slavery, and even death.
In the age of the internet, effort is the great equalizer.
You could come from the most disadvantaged background with all the worst luck in life, but you can still win if you're willing to outwork the next person.
If you want to find out who has societal power, find out who you can't criticize.
If you run the risk of facing major consequences for criticizing a group of people, you've found the people with / protected by institutional power.
100% of women want to get with the top 20% of men.
Do with this information what you will, but know that you can change where you fall in those ranges.
What I'm saying to guys is: if you're lonely, work on yourself and see how far you come.
There is one simple truth in life: we must die.
And if we must die, can we not do so with Virtue?
If we can live well, then surely we can die well. The surest way to avoid dying well is to be painfully dragged into the void instead of willingly walking into it.
If you ever find yourself saying "I'm on the right side of history", maybe just take some time to reflect on your actions.
You may very well be right, but you could also be incredibly wrong.
Learn to question yourself.
"What upsets people is not things themselves, but their judgements about these things." - Epictetus
I often find myself struggling with the friction between my undying love for humanity, and my unending disdain for specific humans. Ultimately I could never be a misanthrope, but I'm not blind to the deep evil and depravity that people are capable of.
"If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it: and this you have the power to revoke at any moment." - Marcus Aurelius
You're allowed to say that you don't know.
You don't have to have an answer for everything.
Just be willing to continuously learn and improve.
Question everything.
Nobody is without fault or some deficiency of character.
Not you, not me, not anyone.
So treat your heroes with due skepticism and your rivals with humility.
You can't change the world, but you can change yourself. Work on cultivating Virtue within yourself without placing judgement on others. And do not seek to advertise your Virtue to others, because then you're not being Virtuous at all.
If someone insults you and you feel insulted, remember that it is not the fault of the other person.
It is your fault for allowing yourself to feel insulted.
You attach meaning to their words and assent to it as a truth. Their opinion means more to you than your own.
I think that Stoicism should be taught to all children at a young age.
Not the grumpy, unfeeling kind, but the actual ancient school of Philosophy pioneered by Zeno of Citium and refined by the likes of Seneca, Epictetus, and Marcus Aurelius.
