Hey, @Coinos is there a way to get a hold of a seed phrase associated with the initial account? I fail to find the “see the seed phrase” option.
Or is the only way to get a non-custodial main chain wallet is to add a new one in edition to the first one?
If so, is there a way to specify which account should receive onchain transactions?
Thank you for your work!

Protesters are burning the barricades in Tbilisi, Georgia 🇬🇪 at the first day of local government elections.
The demonstrators, who had previously attempted to storm the presidential palace, were pushed back by police using tear gas and water cannons.

After a year in Tbilisi finally found a few true bitcoiners in the city. Today we will have the first meeting of Tbilisi Bitcoin Maxi Club.
Potentially huge!

Just got a DM notification via Damus — someone was asking me whether Muun was a true-lightning wallet. I really want to respond, but the DM is not there. I checked with all Nostr clients possible.
If you see this, comment below, or use 0x chat to DM me.

Why, @Alby ?
I could understand restricting sending — you could argue it’s for security reasons or whatever — but receiving?

I was working on an easy way to integrate Lightning donations into @Bitcoin Calendar website and I noticed a funny thing:
I asked Claude via Cursor to draft a simple dial pad for visitors to input the amount of sats they'd like to donate, and it spit out a decent, functional modal, but as I entered the amount to test functionality, I noticed it would call the API and get a 1000x invoice of what I requested.
I looked at the code and saw that apparently Claude believes mBTC (not sats) is the standard.
I gave it a proper lecture on how things really are, and it fixed its mistake...
Nevertheless, I am still concerned about the future of sound money 😅
Stay vigilant, nostriches!

The Canadian government to cull 400 ostriches
A federal court has dismissed a lawsuit by Universal Ostrich Farms, whose owners, Karen Espersen and Dave Bilinsky, have been trying to save the lives of their ostriches since December.
Several of their birds fell ill with avian flu, after which the food inspection agency ordered all the inhabitants of the farm to be killed.
Last year, 69 ostriches died on the farm, which is 15% of the population. Two carcasses were tested for bird flu, and the result was positive.

Decided to give Xitter a chance today. Wanted to create a Xitter bot for @Bitcoin Calendar to restlessly orange pill the normies by sharing historical Bitcoin events every day.
Signed up, created a developer account, generated a gazillion of api secrets, keys and tokens.
As soon as I finished and was ready to get to work, I receive an email saying my account was suspended 🤡
Oh well. It was a good run 😄 might revisit later.

Russia has begun blocking WhatsApp and Telegram calls — confirmed by several friends inside the country.
FYI: they’re now pushing a state‑built “MAX” messenger to fully control and censor communication. This thing is basically a Trojan with a government badge — demanding near‑root access, scraping contacts, messages, and data from other apps.
Starting this autumn, it comes pre‑installed on every new phone sold. Officials are being told to use it, and even school parent–teacher chats are being quietly forced onto it in multiple regions.
Welcome to the gulag, comrades — only this time, a century later, it’s gone digital.
