A piece of paper can hold anything, from socialist to libertarian wonderlands, but reality doesn't care about people's ideas, hopes, or dreams. You have whatever resources you can obtain or are given; you observe and pay attention as objectively and honestly as possible. You set your goal, work by intervening and manipulating to move toward it, and then you get an outcome. Rinse and repeat until your engineering skills improve.
