The since deleted lapse plan from September states “Congressional intent is evident that SNAP's operations should continue since the program has been provided with multi-year contingency funds”.
Did they really scrub it off the internet just so they can say “Tarrifs did it”?

Recent times have put values to the test and for some they didn’t hold up. I’ve watched moral compasses disintegrate in real time. Vapor in the wind. Like they were never there, maybe they weren’t.

I do not care what people get with their food stamps.
They try and blame Democrats for citizens not receiving SNAP benefits.
Remember that a federal judge has told them to use contingency funds to keep services running and they are gonna fight the ruling. Can’t blame the Democrats anymore without some major mental gymnastics.
Being a douche isn’t the same as having strength.
There are some MAGA folk who will be hit hard by the actions of the administration they voted for.
Will they learn from it? Probably not.
On the subject of cancellation.
There are public consequences for bigoted actions. It’s not cancel culture.
Has it gone to far at times? Sure. Though that is quite a bit different than just not mourning a bigoted prick or having gay characters in a movie.
Why’s MAGA’s understanding so surface lvl?
TDS or Trump Derangement Syndrome is not a response to all criticism, it’s a deflection. If MAGA didn’t fear introspection and had the ability to use facts and evidence they wouldn’t even need the term.
