Inflation goes far beyond CPI. It includes the reduction in the size of goods (shrinkflation) and most recently it includes bureaucratic time theft. The recent airline delays/cancellations and increase in traffic both come to mind. They are downstream concepts of a government authorized monopolies eliminating credible competitors. We will never get that time back. It also makes tools like nostr more valuable since it eliminates rugging after investing precious time in writing and engaging here.
