I've noticed that it's common to see a small, up-turned russula near a flush as I walk the surroundings. Maybe some critter is eating, or drinking, from the gills?

This purple russula (Russula xerampelina perhaps?) pushed up through the gravel.
They're everywhere now. I probably look like I'm from The Ministry of Silly Walks as I avoid stepping on them while I work on projects.

Most likely an Amanita gemmatta
Many more popped up after this one. They are suspected to be poisonous, due to their similarity to Amanita panthera, however, some critter has been eating the caps as soon as they matured.
