RelayTools-android v1.3.7 released! CHANGELOG: fixed outbox relay selection for mentions. Previously, mentions weren't obeying the R/W of inbox/outbox properly and I noticed and was annoyed. INFRA CHANGES: NEW obtainium sources available now for both RelayTools-android, and Newlay (a new nostr relay). The old sources were flaking out, obtainium doesn't support gitlab directly, and obtainium releases have been moved to better infrastructure. If you already had obtainium source, you should experience better connectivity (sorry for before). I also encourage you to use the new URLs because they have better version numbering. No release keys were lost in this process (unlike other un-serious projects that change these keys all the time, I take this shit SRS). Code: Obtainium: ZapStore: image We hatch, we fly' 🐣

I'm not on twitter but, I do think twitter is a disease for bitcoin (and pretty much all of society). I think forks are cool, this bip110 stuff is an interesting way to start a fork that hasn't been tried before. Would I have preferred to not see all the negativity? Yes. Would I have preferred Luke float his commits and not do weird things in his fork that make it hard to understand what is going on? Yes. Am I concerned there are forks happening? No, I think that is normal and if anything I am surprised it doesn't happen more often. No reason to be scared of, or angry about forks. IMO. Hope the next fork rolls back some code even farther maybe.. and I hope it helps people understand forks better.

We must turn the other cheek, be humble and die,.. said no infosec team ever.. But you do you. I've been plenty religious before, and I understand the importance of morality mmmkay. So I apologize if this offends. image Nah I don't think we will do that. Gn.

Relays showing signs of struggle. That's pretty much what they do. I can always turn off signups too, but I've never done that.

Arguably, I caught 5 keeper dungen ies. With a freezer burned shrimp package, from gross out. #winning image Then crew mutiny and it all basically almost fell apart. But captain, made it back to dock just fine.. Took a lot. Hit a deadhead log, had to with HaoLD rations due to refrigeration risks and deadloss risks till the last minute. New crew pls. Fuck, whatchu want from me? 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌋🏖⛵⛵⛵⚓🛳🚤🚣🛥🚢

I dove into seedsigner build process last night. Honestly, a very cool project. But now I'm just concerned with supply chain attacks.. Notice how it only supports a single version of a specific pi hat, for display. Which are all conveniently backordered and not even the latest manufacturer version.. The waveshare 1.3" 240x240. Supply chain attack would be, sell this on amzn with exfiltration capable stuff modded in. Anytime you concentrate the btc into a path like this, the reward for attacks goes WAY up. Just some thoughts from paranoia pays off world. Inspect your hats.

The first problem that comes to mind here is, you said red team. This is an attack team of really smart attackers. You will be giving them a free amount of credits and leeway, how will you make sure they are really white hats? Or will they just find a vuln and exploit it for their own gain, and then .. What, we just notice after we all get got? I would like to hear more about this process of funding red-teams from @OpenSats .. What would keep an attacker from attacking other than millions of dollars in compensation and some kind of white hat track record. Because I don't really know if this is that great an idea, given their own track record for funding things they don't understand or have researched.. 😥 View quoted note →

I was cranky, I'm doing better now, I'm rolling up sleeves and continuing life as mostly a non angry person. Apologies to anyone I offended. Nostr is un-deletable so I am not going to bother trying.

I guess the good news is, all the security skills anyone has are about to get used pretty hardcore.. Where as in the past, it was mostly not taken very seriously at all.. #jarbs
