Nostr, how do you feel about having a permanent record of all zaps you have ever received in plaintext and un-deletable? Not good right? What are we doing here.. We can maybe do better and then more zaps would flow.

I must have read nips/57.md and dips/03.md 30 or more times today, I'm doing some analysis on 'private zaps'. They're not really that private, I don't know why I thought they were. They also should have no problem being counted in all these public zap amounts, I thought they weren't included. Anyway, I learned a LOT and now I will just be absorbing this and thinking about what I really want to see from zaps, vs. what's there now. What parts of this whole zap thing are not very practical, and what does that mean for senders and receivers of zaps as far as this data collection is concerned.

nostrhub.io is broken, (doesn't show my frena nips), but nostr works! because the markdown is on the relay and with a 10 line bash script and nak I can just download the markdown files i needed.

I can literally, zap someone's like 😎 Because my client shows a like as a short message anyway, because that's what emojis are.

I think the .md nostr NIPs, and nostr DIPs are under-rated. We need to double down on this despite it's pain.
