Looking for an interesting television show to watch that is beautiful and inspiring? I recently stumbled upon this show made in Greece about the life of St. Paisios, one of the most beloved Greek saints of the 20th century. I admit that I was skeptical at first since Christian media hasn't always had the highest production value. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the high quality acting, writing, and production. The show is very compelling and entertaining while remaining faithful to the orthodox spiritual nature of the subject matter. While I don't think it has had an official release in America, some kind souls made it available with English subtitles. St. Paisios the Athonite

It is a must watch for any Orthodox Christian but I think any spiritually minded person would benefit from watching it and learning about the life of this holy man. The second season is in production and should come out next year.
