Unlearning is hard. Humans are programmable, this is why the State tries to control public narratives - it allows them to impress ideas and views on to most people which they use to uphold their legitimacy and maintain control. Once learned, de-programming these ideas, any ideas, is very difficult. They become entwined with ego, with one’s identity and entire worldview. This is especially true of midwits. They cannot stomach the idea that everything they have learned might be wrong. How could that possibly be?! They aren’t stupid, after all they have a slightly above average IQ! They’re not some lowly labourer doing menial repetitive tasks for minimum wage, they went to that prestigious University and read books by smart people! They are so invested in what they think they know that they cannot separate the self from the thing. It doesn’t even occur to them that these ideas were implanted on them by other actors with their own incentives, as such it doesn’t occur to them to question why they think what they do. Only the tail ends of the curve can do this. The low end because they don’t wrap themselves in ego, they get by on practicality - what works matters more than what some expert says is correct. They don’t emphasise learning so they have much less to unlearn in the first place. The high end because they’ve overemphasised on learning have understood how their ego can be weaponised against their own self-interest so they expand their circles to collect more data to challenge their own beliefs, and then go with the synthesis which best meets reality. In essence - the tail ends believe the purpose of a system is what it does in reality. The middle of the curve impart their ego on to systems and wish it to match their understanding of reality and will always seek to explain away the variance. The tail ends can unlearn and shed their programming. Midwits can not.

Click bait headline aside, Dario is doing some really good digging into the AI Ponzi scheme which Big Tech is running. He seems to think it will all come apart any day now which I don’t agree with - there’s WAY too much on the line for that. But he seems to be directionally correct and makes a compelling case for a shitton of fraud going on.

Good Morning Britain discusses the question: “Should the UK temporarily ban social media?” These parasites are poisoning the Overton Window.

AGI isn’t happening. LLMs are not the path there, these companies are not going to build it, NVIDIA can overtake Gold and it will make no difference. This “generation” of AI will not result in AGI. The “productivity miracle” which they’re going to print like crazy for, will never eventuate and just be the bubble to end all bubbles. It will be great for Bitcoin on the backend as AI will fund huge digital infrastructure expansions which end up useless. Maybe you’ll live to see AGI, but it won’t be this decade or this development cycle. It may disrupt some things and augment some jobs but this is not the real deal. We don’t know what a world with AGI will look like, we do know what a world with bubbles and overblown tech looks like though. Plan accordingly.

@John Goddard breaks down eKaren’s failure to win in #AUStriches court against Xitter: I won’t say however that King Cantillionaire has won: View quoted note → When I’m wrong I concede, as I did with my Orban coup prediction: View quoted note → However eKaren has simply lost this opening salvo - she and the State, will win this war. Albo has already announced a parliamentary inquiry into social media and their “social license” to operate responsibly: View quoted note → And South Australia are seeking to ban children under 14 from social media: View quoted note → This is the same approach they took after the National referendum failed in 2023 - States legislated it regardless of what people wanted. Remember, Digital ID was legislated less than 2 months ago: View quoted note → And the idea of KYCing social media usage goes back to the previous government, both parties agree on this policy: View quoted note → Their inability to force global takedowns in this instance is merely a bump on the road (their ability to takedown local content remains). They will now create a framework that platforms won’t be able to argue against in court with clearer legislation for much greater levels of control than they have today, and all of these parasites will happily wield that power to censor anyone for any reason, as their already tabled mis- and disinformation legislation proposes: View quoted note → #nostr is going to become very important in the not too distant future.

This excerpt from the money speech in Atlas Shrugged is fantastic. The concept of “heirs” feels like a quaint middle-ages nobility thing, but it’s something #Bitcoiners need to reckon with. Your kids are going to grow up to be very wealthy through no doing of their own. How do you ensure they know the value of a hard days work if they never need to work? How do you get them to understand the importance of low time preference when every desire is available at their fingertips? How do you ensure your heirs are worthy of the wealth you have created for your family? image

#Bitcoin now has a core dev who has been captured by the trannie movement. Are you ready for dumb shit to happen because we’ve got a man who would prefer to be a woman in place? Good luck to the idea of a reserve asset when a gatekeeper wants to pretend they’re another gender!

You know we’re approaching peak fiat when venture capitalists have poured in $241 Million to a company whose website is https://hu.ma.ne who have produced a solution looking for a problem and hyped it up with the “AI” buzzword. Who the fuck wants a $700 wearable projector that operates like this?

For the sake of humanity I am willing to donate the landmass of Australia to communism. The plan is simple, we round up every climate cultist, Marxist, socialist, transmaoist and leftoid in every country and dump them in Australia. All the politicians, the journos, the actors, anyone who thinks shit is “free”, we get them all shipped to Australia and offer an exchange program for the 20 Million Aussies that will be displaced by this program so they can exit. Then as we wrap up we destroy the airports and ports on the way out and leave them to their communist utopia. Nothing may never leave Australia, no person or data, they will be completely isolated and the world will treat Australia as radioactive waste which must be avoided at all costs. The commies get to implement their vision so what’s not to like for them, and the rest of us can move on with life without having sociopathic malthusians trying to dictate all aspects of life to the rest of us. Who’s in?

Governments love a housing Ponzi because when houses become money, citizens effectively capital control themselves. It’s the easiest market to regulate new supply in as it’s fully contained within a domestic market so there’s no risk of some new deposit being found overseas which can flood the market to reduce prices, and they can rely on NIMBYism for soft regulation beneath whatever zoning, materials, safety etc hard regs set beyond that. It’s the easiest thing to tax because it can not be hidden and it forms the base for the human hierarchy of needs so it cannot be foregone. And ultimately governments are the ones who decide on ownership - they operate the land registries and adjudicate title disputes through their courts. On top of that, eminent domain is a trump card they can play at any time their own rules aren’t working in their favour. Housing bubbles will forever be inflated and perpetuated by fiat governments to lock in a tax base and keep capital from fleeing their ability to impose violence on dissenters. It gives them a real world physical address to which they can send their armed goons to shakedown their subjects. We haven’t even begun to see the value in #Bitcoin’s ability to be borderless, but when the sovereign game theory begins to play out as fiat systems crumble, this may be the killer feature which drives hyperbitcoinisation as the wealthy seek to move their families to safety whilst bringing their wealth with them.
