OVERWHELMING PRAISE FOR CITADEL VAULT AT BTC PRAGUE
The response from BTC Prague from June 11 to June 13 was incredible! The Citadel Vault officially launched as a truly unique inheritance solution tailored specifically for serious Bitcoin holders - offering complete self-sovereignty and privacy. Security and physical resilience are at the absolute core of the design. The Vault encrypts all your instructions and legal documents using a shares secret distributed across multiple high-grade smartcards (EAL6+). Since none of your private data is stored on the device, the entire setup is completely safe from wrench attacks and highly resistant against natural disasters. Every component is designed to be fully redundant and easily replaceable.
We built this system knowing your heirs might not be technical experts. A built-in advisor works seamlessly with the human Vault advisor to guide you through the initial setup process. Your Vault advisor will walk you and your family through a simulated recovery process on an annual basis, which together with written instructions and the build-in software advisor, ensures your heirs will know how to recover your Bitcoin. When the time comes, your loved ones will not need a computer science degree to execute your recovery path. They only need to know how to access two of three smartcards and the encrypted Vault Drive.
