"Open source" is a phrase I feel is about to be mass co-opted.
Just like "decentralized". Just like "crypto".
Open source is a scale/spectrum. And too many quasi or tenuous 'open source' projects are using it liberally.
Just because you have some code on github doesn't make it 'open sourced'.

-'PGP' key encryption. Is this still being used? What are some practical applications of it? I also run SimpleX so is this preferred? I see more and more devs and plebs indicating that they have a PGP.... 🤔👀
-Bisq has a large spread of about 4 or 5% and LOW liquidity in my national currency. Considering this, I'm slightly surprised more people aren't using Bisq to arbitrage. Why not? I can't see why a large exchange might not do this and provide liquidity for a 5% fee. 🤔 I know that selling BTC back to national fiat isn't "the way" but there are some strong arbitrage incentives. @fiatjaf

Can some devs and backend talent explain if Bisq is legit under the hood?! What are the vulnerabilities or points of failure/rugpull/scam/nefarious actions? Seems like some levels of trust are involved at strategic points but I could use help understanding when and how. 🙏🤔 Feels like banking info and KYC is being exposed at some point. (?)
