A bitcoin all time high is even better when you are surrounded by bitcoiners.
Watching Jack Dorsey talk in 2024 and thinking back to when I saw him talk in 2012. The difference is striking. A long beard and a Satoshi t-shirt, but also a focus on the long term, a focus on what matters, an intensity and seriousness and passion.

While it sounds cool to say price doesn't matter, the bitcoin price supports hashrate security, brings in developers, users, and attention, and encourages existing bitcoiners to spend (due to increased purchasing power). It's the most noticeable measure of bitcoin's success.

I'm been saying for a while - don't open lightning channels with adversaries. It's not necessary and it opens up a variety of potential attacks.
Would fee smoothing (spreading fee revenue for miners over multiple blocks) lead to out of band payments to miners? And thus centralization?
Btc plus plus in Austin was a great experience. A lot of smart people building the future. Thanks to the organizers and developers who made it happen.
Does nostr have timestamping? If I note something, can I later prove that I noted it at a specific time and date?
