I just completed Secret Entrance Day 1 Advent of Code 2025 https://adventofcode.com/2025/day/1

I entered the full-time workforce in the midst of the GFC. I joined the cloud/tech startups scene shortly before the snowden revelations. I’ve been in the trenches and seen some shit. my code has undoubtedly influenced some pixels your eyes have seen. I have no idea where this thing is going. it’s hard to imagine the landscape in even 5 years from now. fundamentals like how we access data have changed so dramatically in just the last 2 years.

when you build money services for users, you are held to a higher standard. and you certainly can’t do dumb shit with security like check in your secret material to a public repo or have insecure setup flows. but in the LN space, i’ve seen both in the past ~six months. negligence or ignorance, either way disappointing. do better.
