The r/buttcoin subreddit has existed since 2011.
The Bitcoin haters have had the same arguments, same level of wishful thinking, and same delusional unreality about Bitcoin since.
They're not worth your time. Block, mute, and don't engage these pitiable creatures.

Yea, this is an argument for more people going to uncensored places, but what bothers me is that we're still lumped in with "crypto bros"

The worst part of censorship is that not speaking or writing about something naturally diminishes your thoughts about it.
Sometimes you need to be unhinged so the rare pearl of wisdom can be captured.
California seems intent on collapsing itself.
We can't really verify elections, can we?
We're going to find out that most billionaires are complete frauds.
"International Law" and "Rules based order" were always polite progressive fictions.

I don't like war, but if you have to have one, then one that's limited to soldiers, or better yet, the leaders themselves is much more preferable than total war that fiat money inevitably trends toward.
Bets are zero sum, just like status games. And zero-sum games don't add value.
About as credible as Solana saying they're going to stop pushing memecoins.
The real news is destined to be here on Nostr and not on these outdated legacy systems.
What Bitcoin taught me in 2025:
Stop relying on price models and be more low time preference.
With great power comes great responsibilty... unless you have the money printer.
Gross fraudulent behavior is unfortunately incentivized by the fiat system we have.
The theft of our resources is bad enough, but what's worse is that all these rent-seekers ultimately end up destroying their souls.
If you're tempted to whine about the current price, don't.
Complain enough times and you'll start to believe something's wrong.
Then you'll start listening to the haters.
Then you'll start to doubt.
Then you'll sell.
Holding is supposed to be hard. And even little slip ups can lead to failure.

You don't need to fix the world. You'd probably screw up if you could, not because you're so incompetent, but because nobody has that level of knowledge and skill.
Moderns have spurned family, community and God. The only thing they cling to is life, which is severely debased as a result of their spurning.
There's no place in the rent-seeking apparatus for young men, which is why they'll inevitably become people who add value.
Bad times make for strong men, indeed.
