AI capabilities are great, but also greatly overestimated. "There is an unbridgeable gap between artificial and human intelligence, which is characterized by comprehension: a non-algorithmic property of consciousness that is often underestimated and inaccessible to computers" Federico Fagin, Irreducible, p.69

Someone calculate the CO2 cost of destroying and then rebuilding all this and then tell me why none of the mainstream 'environmentalists' has anything to say about it. If you serve in the USrael army, you are enabling the satanic pedophiles and the lunatics and the sociopaths, at great personal cost and while risking your life. Just don't. View quoted note →

Barnaby Jack was a security researcher who demonstrated the ability to remotely hack implantable medical devices like pacemakers and insulin pumps, proving they could be manipulated to deliver fatal shocks or lethal insulin doses. He died in July 2013 just before his scheduled presentation at Black Hat 2013 titled "Hacking Humans," which was intended to detail his findings on medical implants. The articles I could find all say no details were released about the circumstances of his death - so he was likely killed by the CIA. I could not however find evidence that he could 'hack a human body' as Sabrina Wallace claims.

Trump issues ultimatum to "Open the Fuckin' Strait" or he will commit war crimes against Iran's civilian infrastructure. So yeah, I agree with Caitlin Johnstone that US troops have a moral obligation to start disobeying.

I love Joe Rogan's podcast, but when he starts selling AI governance it feels like Elon has brainwashed him into oblivion on that topic. AI is not this free of passions perfectly fair and reasonable entity - it is a tool in the hands of whoever set it up. Elon would looove to use it as an excuse/front to rule the planet.

Thank you for the summary and explanations. I struggled to follow at times, I have to admit. I'll look into those books.

Sounds like @🟠 isolabellart needs some encouragement. It is easy to say keep painting, but I can only guess paints are expensive. This was just paint in a shop at some point, now it is beauty. image View quoted note →

I'll admit I found it quite likely that humanity will struggle for resources going forward. It is a very easy judgement call to make, just like it is easy to trust that banks lend only what they have - because that's how money and resources work in our own lives, within the household. This episode of the Corbett Report blew a big hole in that. Historically, the price of commodity resources excluding precious metals, has been going down regardless of population increase. When one thing runs out, we find another to do the job. So go ahead and have babies :D

Our skies will get even busier with artificial stuff, but I guess it is a good thing if the US doesn't control all internet access in remote areas? We will see. "A Russian private space company has successfully placed into orbit the first 16 satellites of a planned broadband internet network intended as a domestic alternative to Elon Musk’s Starlink."

Wow, some good news to start the day. Here's my first GM 😀 "In a historic win for free speech, the U.S. Surgeon General, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) have been legally restricted from pressuring social media companies to silence Americans for the next decade. This comes from a formal Consent Decree in Missouri v. Biden, one of the most consequential First Amendment cases in modern history." How consequetial this will be in practice we will see, but a win is a win.

Lots of grim truths in this Tucker interview, mainly centering on the Iran war and its consequences in the coming couple of years. One of the most striking ones to me was that the USA has no off-ramp in this war - it has to win or would lose the petro dollar and suffer economic collapse. Yet it can't win. The other one was that Israel needs the US to lose its position as guarantor in the Middle East so it can complete its own greater Israel project. So the memes depicting the USA as Israel's dog would be more accurate if they showed the USA as Israel's brainwashed suicide bomber.

Apparently the CIA is preparing to throw the blame for us failings in Iran on ... Tucker Carlson. "As the Israel Lobby gets more desperate watching the collapse of American support for their country, they also become more nakedly authoritarian to control US discourse."

How did I not hear Catherine Austin Fitts was on Tucker Carlson!? In case you haven't heard either, here's the link: She's not a bitcoiner, but there are many good people out there who are worth hearing - even if they are not bitcoiners (yet).
