I increasingly like Buddhism. "The seduction of luxury and leisure overwhelm the aspiration to wake up. Think of all the time, money and energy some people spend on pleasure and on fulfilling sense desires. The finest food, the perfect couch, the best car, the ultimate hot tub, the ideal island vacation. They wrap their lives in material objects, creating a facade of false security and satisfaction, and all the while they are setting themselves up to be devastated by life's inevitable fluctuations, and they remain unprepared for changing financial or social status, losing loved ones, growing old, failing health and dying."

Calling altcoiners shitcoiners is not only unproductive, it is tribal and ugly. I used to follow and invest in various privacy coins. Nobody ever changed my mind by calling me a shitcoiner. The change came after I realised bitcoin can be used privately and that investing in it was more profitable in the long term.

Is there a nostr client that would let me create an inbox for specific accounts, so I never miss a post from them because it got lost in the noise? #asknostr

"... when the pace of external or material progress exceeded the development of inner knowledge, people seem to suffer deep emotional conflicts without any internal method of dealing with them. An abundance of material items provides such a variety of external distractions that people loose the connection to their inner lives." "The Joy of Living" by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche

I decided the OP_RETURN 'threat' was a nothingburger after listening to this https://fountain.fm/episode/m3BOZFnyzCUgLnI3iwk4 I ended up on the side of Core then, but now there is BIP-119 which aims to allow a sender to restrict how you can spend bitcoin once it is in your wallet. Apparently supported by 66 devs... could as well be 666 ๐Ÿ‘น IMHO if implemented, Bitcoin can no longer be called freedom money. Curious to hear other opinions. In general the issue needs more publicity.
