For french users of #Nostr, I added a Nostr identity that streams the most common newspapers RSS stream. Follow #[0] if you want to keep updated with the latest info of general french press. Enjoy !

Btw meanwhile I will probably run another instance of #[0] to handle publishing news feeds from general press like NYT. Note that I will avoid any press that is associated to alt-right. But if you don't like it feel free to run your own instance ;)

I am amazed how it seems that in France régions ignores each other when it comes to beer craft. You'll always find craft beer from the region you're in but hardly find beers from other part of the country :(

Beware of Manichaeism our societies push us to. People spending their time being mean ends up making everything meaningless. If don't want human kind to end this way we should care about this.

I really like Nostr, and even if I'm quite sure it has a bright future ahead I'm still really doubtful that it will completely replace other social networks or even blogging. Many people don't intend to be non-custodial as it requires some efforts they are not disposed to do. We can't - and shouldn't - blame them, not everybody has the knowledge - or time to aknowledge - this kind of responsability. Maybe some services will provide custody for those users that will help adoption. The most important thing is for user having the freedom to chose the way they want to go, like switching from custodial to non-custodial ( and back ). Freedom is not in doing something, but in being able to do something.

I must admit Nostr clients have improved quite quickly and greatly in a very short time. I hope the dynamic will keep at the same pace, as even if consistently improved, the UX has still plenty of room to be improved

There is something interesting regarding the surge and success of AIs like chatGPT. It's the fear it generates on the same timing. It is like suddenly people are realizing that humankind is probably not the last stage of intelligence. Transhumanism sold by the silicon valley seemed appealing for many in the last decades but completely missed the real point of the transhumanism ideology. Maybe our societies will start thinking about it with something else than the pure silicon valley vision now that they feel the threat of such perspectives if not prepared the right way

Btw next releases of #[0] will be even more lightweight as I merged a PR that provides compiling optimizations, moving from a 18MB to a 5MB binary release !

I see some favs onto #[0] publications, even some quotes of the messages. It's really nice to see that the instance provides some utility to the community. Ho, and don't forget that you can run your own instance as it is fully open source ( and lightweight )
